Meet Sarah

Sarah Johnson, MS, PLPC  |  EMDR Trained

Sarah approaches therapy with curiosity, depth, and a strong belief in people’s capacity for insight and change. Her work is grounded in the idea that many of our present struggles are shaped by earlier experiences, relationships, and environments, and that understanding these patterns can open the door to new ways of living. She works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and questions of identity and meaning. Sarah has a particular interest in exploring how early life experiences and relational patterns continue to influence the present. In session, she creates a space where clients can slow down, reflect, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Sarah’s approach to therapy is relational, thoughtful, and collaborative. She values creating a space where clients feel respected and safe to explore their experiences, develop insight, and work toward meaningful change. She is committed to providing an affirming environment for people of all backgrounds and identities, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. Sarah earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Missouri State University in 2025.
