Meet Kelly

Kelly Gonzalez-Stewart MS, PLPC  |  EMDR Trained

My desire is to serve a community that is carrying more than just their own pain. Often, we’re carrying the weight of unspoken family wounds, inherited patterns, and the stigma that often surrounds emotional vulnerability. This can be exacerbated during life transitions like pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. You may be navigating anxiety, birth trauma, postpartum depression, or the overwhelming pressure to "hold it all together" in the face of generational expectations. I'd love to walk with you through this. I have professional training in working with perinatal mental health and using EMDR as a tool to process traumatic experiences safely.

My sessions often focus on gently unpacking the past while creating a more grounded, empowered present. We structure goals that often include reclaiming your voice, nurturing your emotional well-being, and becoming the kind of parent, partner, or person you feel inclined to be. We may play, cry, laugh, or reprocess; whatever you need that day.

I believe healing happens in connection and co-regulation through being seen, heard, and supported without judgment. I feel called to help my community navigate the weight of trauma, the uncertainty of life transitions, and the complexity of human emotions with care, compassion, and dignity.
