Meet Joshua

Joshua Holland, Pharm.D., BCPP, LPC | EMDR Trained

Joshua has trained as both a pharmacist and a counselor. He graduated from North Dakota State University in 2008 with a PharmD and came to work at CoxHealth in Springfield, MO. He worked as a psychiatric pharmacist for CoxHealth for 9 years and during that time, became a Board Certified Psychiatric Pharmacist. He also obtained his Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Missouri State University in 2017 and began working at Ozarks Counseling Center that same year. In 2021, he completed training in Somatic Integration and Processing as well as EMDR from the Beyond Healing Institute in Springfield. He believes in the SIP approach that all people are looking to be seen and heard in a way that feels safe. He likes to utilize his training in these areas to help individuals, and couples better understand the way they are being affected by their environment, physically and mentally, and the ways in which they have learned to manage their emotional and physical safety.
