Erin earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Missouri State University in May of 2023 after completing a degree in psychology and a minor in community health. Erin believes the change process is a sacred collaboration between a client and their therapist as individuals don’t heal until their emotions are fully addressed, witnessed, and felt deeply. Erin helps clients to gain awareness of both their strengths and their values, to find opportunities for growth, to maintain their valued autonomy and authenticity, and to take responsibility for their roles in the world, family, workplace, etc. Erin utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities, but she primarily does person-centered talk therapy, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, art expression therapy, somatic therapy; she is a reiki energy healing practitioner, and she is an EMDR therapist. Erin sees adolescents and adults, 13 and older who are struggling with self-esteem, sexual trauma, relationship trauma, social anxiety, generalized anxiety and panic, depression, and individuals in the middle of life transitions.
